Our Feeding Schedule
Chris and I, at Crooked Star Bulldogges, have been using Purina Pro Plan with our puppies for years with great success. Our puppies start out at 3 weeks of age, being introduced to a warm mush mixture of Purina mixed with puppy milk replacer. This is done for a week or so to get them started on solid food while still providing essential nutrients. Once the puppies understand the eating process, we transition to simply wetting their food with warm water, making it easier for them to consume. We initially feed them four times per day and gradually reduce the feeding frequency. By the time the puppies are ready to go to their new homes, they have been accustomed to eating three times a day, ensuring a smooth transition for both the puppies and their new families.
