The Crooked Star Difference

Experience, Care and Support Matter.

Finding the right puppy is important, but so is understanding where that puppy came from. Families should know how their puppy was raised, what guided the breeding decision and who will be available when questions arise.

At Crooked Star Bulldogges, every part of the process is shaped by experience, purpose and a commitment to doing what is right for our dogs and the families who welcome them home.

What Happens Behind the Scenes

A Breeding Program Should Learn From Every Generation.

Responsible breeding does not end when a litter goes home. Crooked Star Bulldogges evaluates the results of its breeding decisions and uses what is learned to guide the generations that follow.

01

We Evaluate What We Produce

When appropriate, we retain a puppy from a breeding combination so development, structure, movement and temperament can be evaluated as the dog matures—not only at eight weeks old.

02

Function Before Exaggeration

Our Olde English Bulldogge program focuses on dogs that can breathe comfortably and move freely. Bulldog character should never come at the expense of everyday function.

03

Prepared for the First Days

Our dedicated whelping and neonatal area includes equipment such as incubators, oxygen concentrators and nebulizers when a mother or newborn puppy needs additional support.

04

Care Beyond Breeding

Guardian arrangements and carefully selected retirement homes help our dogs receive individual attention, family life and the comfortable retirement they deserve.

Health With Purpose

Healthy Dogs Begin With Thoughtful Decisions.

Responsible breeding starts long before a litter arrives. It means understanding the dogs, evaluating each pairing and considering how genetics, structure, temperament and overall health may influence the next generation.

Health testing matters, but responsible breeding also means evaluating how dogs develop, move, breathe, reproduce and live as family companions.
