Contact Us About Bee Bee

Bee Bee is a sweet, affectionate and playful 7-year-old Olde English Bulldogge who has been one of our favorites at Crooked Star for many years. She loves attention, enjoys spending time with people and especially loves being outdoors. At this stage of her life, we would love to see Bee Bee settle into a home where she can enjoy plenty of individual attention and simply be someone's companion.

THEIR CROOKED STAR STORY

Bee Bee's Story

Bee Bee has been a core part of the Crooked Star Bulldogges breeding program for several years. Over the course of four litters, she helped build a line that continues throughout our program today. Her influence can be found in many of the dogs in our current breeding program, making her legacy at Crooked Star far larger than the four litters she raised.
Now, at seven years old, Bee Bee has completed her role in our breeding program. For her, retirement is not about what she can no longer do. It is about recognizing what she has already contributed and giving her the opportunity to enjoy the next chapter of her life as someone’s companion.

GET TO KNOW THEM

Personality & Daily Life

Bee Bee is loving, loyal, and very attentive to the people around her. She likes to know where you are and enjoys being part of whatever is going on.
Her daily life at Crooked Star is simply life as a dog. She remains here at the kennels, where she is comfortable, confident, and truly thrives. She enjoys being part of the everyday activity around her and has maintained a wonderful energy level.
At seven years old, Bee Bee certainly does not act her age. Other than the gray beginning to show on her face, you would never guess that she is seven years old and has raised four litters. She remains active, engaged, and full of life.

LIFE WITH BEE BEE

Activity & Lifestyle

Bee Bee is a great example of the balanced activity level we love in an Olde English Bulldogge. She is active enough to enjoy walks, playtime, and family outings, but she is equally content to settle down and relax with her people.
She loves going to town and joining Chris and me for coffee, and she does very well riding in the car. In the right home, we can easily picture Bee Bee going along to the kids' soccer games, enjoying a walk around the neighborhood, playing in the yard, or simply spending an afternoon lounging around the house.
Bee Bee is not currently house trained, so her new family will need to be prepared to work with her on that transition. She is accustomed to kennel life and will need some patience and consistency as she learns the routines of living full-time inside a home.
She does not need an exceptionally active household. What she needs is a family that will include her in their life, give her appropriate activity, and also appreciate that sometimes a Bulldogge's favorite activity is simply being wherever her people are.

THE RIGHT FIT

Ideal Home

Bee Bee would do best in a home without another female dog. We believe she should do well with a male dog with proper introductions. She is good with children. Her experience with cats and other types of animals is unknown, so we would not recommend placing her in a home with other animals without careful consideration. Bee Bee is not completely house-trained. Her ideal home would have someone who is available during the day and willing to manage a consistent potty-training routine. She loves being outdoors, so a home where she can spend plenty of supervised time outside would be a great fit.
