Our relationship with Crooked Star families does not end on go-home day. Crooked Star Bulldogges offers limited boarding and specialized care, with priority given to dogs from our breeding program. When space and circumstances allow, we may also accept a small number of outside dogs.
A Familiar Place When You Need Us
One of the advantages of working with an established breeder is having someone to turn to after your puppy goes home. Our boarding and specialized care services are intentionally limited, allowing us to focus on the individual dog rather than operating as a high-volume commercial boarding facility.
Priority for Our Dogs
Dogs produced by Crooked Star Bulldogges receive priority when boarding space is available. It is another way we can continue supporting the families who have trusted us with their puppy.
Intentionally Small & Selective
Our boarding space is limited by design. Availability depends on the dogs already in our care, the needs of the individual dog and whether we believe we can provide the appropriate environment during the stay.
Routine, Temperament & Individual Needs
Feeding schedules, temperament, activity, rest and familiar routines all matter. We want to understand the dog before the stay so we can provide care that makes sense for that particular dog.
When Space & Fit Allow
Although our own Crooked Star families are our priority, we have accepted outside dogs on a limited basis. Those decisions are made individually based on available space, temperament, care requirements and overall fit.
Our Support Does Not End When Your Puppy Leaves
We have always viewed breeder support as something that extends beyond the initial puppy purchase. Questions come up, schedules change and sometimes families simply need a trusted place for their dog to stay.
